netViz 3D can export 3D scenes as .rib files, which can be rendered into life-like images suitable for presentations, publishing and other applications requiring high-quality graphics.

In order to create rendered images, you must first install a third-party rendering software. One application that you can download from the Web and use for little or no cost is Blue Moon rendering software.

Click here to download Blue Moon software, http://www.exluna.com/products/bmrt/download/.

Once you’ve downloaded the .zip file, unzip it to the root of your C drive. You should then have a folder named C:\BMRT2.6.

To render 3D scenes in netViz 3D using Blue Moon rendering software, just select Scene\Ray trace to .tif from the netViz 3d toolbar.
