netViz Corporation Expands Reseller Channel to Include Mainland China New Bejing reseller expected to help penetrate Asian markets July 10, 2000, Rockville, MD – netViz Corporation has expanded its reseller network to include Zpower Technology Ltd., based in Beijing, China. The joint announcement came today from Asher Gendelman, VP of sales for netViz Corporation and Managing Director Shaobo Wei of Zpower Technology Ltd. In Beijing, China. "We may live in a global marketplace," said Gendelman, "but building customer relationships requires a personal touch and communication on a local level. We have a great technology, and we"re excited by the possibilities that will be open to us when we've got local people on the ground in mainland China representing netViz. We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship." Zpower employs a network of about 50 people, most of whom are engineers. The company is an authorized reseller partner of HP and Compuware. In addition to selling software, Zpwer provides services to help the members of its client base configure and install network management tools and implement monitoring plans. Zpower also provides system integration services ranging from planning networks to installing and configuring hardware, software and cabling. Said Gendelman, "we've been quite successful selling netViz as part of a larger network solution. Teaming up with reseller/integrators has historically been a winning proposition for us. By adding netViz to its product line, Zpower will be able to offer a more complete solution to its customers and at the same time expose netViz software to a lot or Chinese IT professionals who wouldn't otherwise have an opportunity to see netViz put through its paces."
