netViz Software Chosen by Intelispan for Integration in New Online Network Modeling, Visualization and Asset Management Service

Software to be used by Intelispan's professional services group

August 28, 2000, Rockville, MD – netViz Corporation announced today that Intelispan, Inc. (OTCBB:IVPN) has chosen netViz software to be an integral part of Intelispan's new ProSupport Web-based online service, which grants customers access to ongoing consulting and dynamic network modeling and visualization. The solution will be delivered through Intelipro, Intelispan's professional services group. The service is designed to leverage the Internet as a means to deliver high-value expertise and network performance forecasting to clients whose networks continue to evolve after the initial Intelipro engagement is complete. Using Intelispan's public key infrastructure (PKI) and Securant Technologies' ClearTrust software, ProSupport also delivers the value of a managed document repository through a highly secure Web environment.

"We are committed to our customers and their networks for the long-term," said Lee Provow, CEO of Intelispan. "ProSupport is a cutting-edge service that gives them a convenient, secure and cost-efficient way to access to the most powerful network analysis and planning resources in the industry – human and software – as well as the benefits of a managed repository for their network configuration assets, " he added.

"The Intelipro service delivery model blazes some trails for us when it comes to viable Web-based management programs', said Marc Cohen, Chairman and CEO of OPNET. "ProSupport provides OPNET with an opportunity to penetrate a new strata of small to medium-sized companies, as well as provide some additional value to our existing client base."

"The ProSupport Service simplifies the change management process by organizing all the tools necessary to build, manage, and maintain the communication infrastructure. The Intelispan-netViz partnership is an excellent way for customers to utilize netViz technology to rapidly move forward on vital documentation projects, while minimizing corporate expenditures," said Vo Tran, President and CEO of netViz Corporation.

ProSupport clients will be issued PKI certificates that give them secure access to their network analysis and design data assets that are stored at Intelispan's facilities. Intelipro will manage file revision history and run change requests to the OPNET network models, publishing the results to the client's Web account via OPNET and netViz. The service allows network planners and administrators to interact with their data, but does not require software licensing or a steep learning curve. The ProSupport Web site also facilitates communication and interaction between clients and Intelipro consulting personnel.

ProSupport pricing is based on annual flat rate plus a tiered schedule of "professional service hours" that can be scaled according to the client's needs. A progressive discount is applied based on the number of hours purchased.
