The Data Stream consultant(s) will review the client's network configuration
and operation to assure that documentation requirements meet stated
objectives in the context of network diagnostics and management needs,
overall systems management, network modeling and analysis, disaster
recovery and help desk issues. Consultant(s) will research existing
documentation, such as drawings, network information in spreadsheets
and databases, as well as data that might be available from any existing
client network management platforms. The compilation of these network
information sources will enable the netViz consultant(s) to formulate
appropriate policies and procedures needed to administer the creation
and management of the catalog(s) and files.

The
Data Stream consultant(s) will design, develop and create the projects,
consistent with the client's criteria and objectives. The project's
diagram hierarchy will be developed to the extent needed to meet the
client's scope.

After creating the overall project structure and topology, the Data
Stream consultant(s) will bring data into the project. Floor plan drawings
and custom graphics will be created as needed. The consultant(s) will
also conduct hands-on project training for client personnel during this
phase, to assure that in-house staff acquire adequate skills and proficiency.

wrap-up and roll-out support
After the project's diagramming and data integration phase is complete,
the Data Stream consultant(s) will help define the policies and procedures
for project roll-out, and will help develop strategies for change control.
After completion of the contract, netViz consultants can be available
for over-the-phone support and guidance, and can even actively participate
in on-going project management.
